The 17th century drama Barbarossa tells the story of Amirul Bahr Bar Barusa Khairnar, a fearless warrior and extraordinary planner who gained control of the Muslim Sultanate over the seas. His unmatched capabilities protected trade activities and maintained foreign influence, earning him respect from the Sultanate of Rome.

The Treacherous Sea and the Brave Warriors

The sea, known as Bahira Rome to the Arabs and Bora Abis to the Turks, was historically treacherous, swallowing the crowns of kings and thrones of sultans. However, brave warriors like Bar Barusa and Sarfarosh Jahaz Rano considered it the lap of their mother and conquered the forts on its chains. One such warrior, Baba Aruj, and his younger brother established a blood relation with the sea and became known as Bar Barusa. However, their journey to become the sultans of the sea was just beginning.

A Solemn Promise and a Journey into the Unknown

In a dramatic episode, a group of men face an uncertain journey to their destination, knowing that danger lies ahead. They categorize men into three types: the king, those who fear the king, and those the king fears. They are grateful that they are not the ones who cower in fear. The men make a solemn promise to stand together, no matter what challenges they face, even if it means sacrificing their lives.
